3500974 Hydraulic Cylinder Seal Kit for CAT 328DLCR & 329DL Stick Cylinder – 3494148

Two numbers point to this repair: 3500974 for the kit, 3494148 for the same CAT stick cylinder application. It fits the 328DLCR and 329DL. The stick cylinder is the one doing the digging and grading work, so the rod seal and wiper take a beating from grit, slurry, and constant cycling. Once the wiper stops blocking dust, the rod seal wears fast, and the stick starts to drift or leaves oil on the rod. That is the point where this kit goes in.

Seals are PU and NBR. PU takes the pressure lips and sliding wear. NBR covers oil-side and static sealing. Profiles are cut to OEM dimensions, so they drop into the grooves without trimming or stretching. Seal kit only — barrel, rod, and piston are not included.

Check the machine serial and cylinder part number before ordering. 328DLCR and 329DL can run more than one stick cylinder setup, so the model name by itself may not be enough.
