2478792 Hydraulic Cylinder Seal Kit for CAT 322C, 325D L, 325D Stick Cylinder – 2897884

On a 322C, 325D L, or 325D, the stick cylinder pulls through the digging cycle, so the rod seal and wiper see constant load and grit. When the wiper can’t keep dirt out, the rod seal wears and the stick starts to drift or leave oil on the rod. Kit 2478792 covers that repair. OEM reference: 2478792 / 2897884.

The seals are PU and NBR. PU handles the pressure lips and sliding wear; NBR covers oil-side and static sealing. Profiles are molded to OEM groove dimensions, so they seat without trimming or stretching. This is a seal kit only — barrel, rod, and piston are not included.

Before ordering, check the machine serial and cylinder number. The 322C, 325D L, and 325D can use more than one stick cylinder setup, so the model name alone may not be enough.
